Coming from the East side of Houghton Lake:  Get off Interstate 75 at exit #227 (M-55 Prudenville), go west to the M-18 junction. Turn right, then about half a mile further on, turn left (north) on County Road 100 at Randy's Family Restaurant. Follow this road past the Airport, go over the Cut River Bridge, then make a left turn just round the next bend on to "North Shore Drive". Go about half a mile and watch for our "Driftwood Resort" sign on the left.

Coming from the West side of Houghton Lake: Get off U.S. 127 at the M-55 exit and head east about 3/4 of a mile to the U.S. 27 / M-55 junction (State Police on the right hand side). Turn left (north) on U.S. 27 and go about 5 miles to a sign that indicates "North Shore Area". Turn right here and proceed to the next stop sign. Turn left and travel 3 1/2 miles to the next stop sign. Turn left again and watch for our "Driftwood Resort" sign another 2 1/2 miles further down on the right.
